VWH Apparel established in November 2018, is a women’s wear brand with the core goal of normalising African fashion through contemporary style. VWH stands for “Vibes with Hajjo”. Hajjo is the nickname of brand owner and creative designer, Hajarat Jose, thereby a depiction of her style and interpretation of fashion.

VWH Apparel deals with the use of a fabric called “Adire” locally sourced from artisans in Nigeria to produce contemporary sustainable pieces for women. By sourcing materials and working with artisans locally, a business ethic we like to adopt is to enable workforce within Nigeria to develop and encourage artisans within the labour force. We currently also seek to provide a genderless variety of clothes thereby in a sense becoming more inclusive.

We take pride in ensuring quality products are our top priority while subconsciously seeking to reduce waste and the potential hazards caused in our production processes. VWH is Lagos based, all production takes place from Lagos, Nigeria to your doorstep in small batches to ensure minimal to no waste. We also offer made-to-order pieces as well as slight modifications to our designs to enable flexibility to our customers. We take pride in offering a bi-yearly recycle edit by recreating our bestselling designs in left over fabrics and selling them at 25% off full price. We like to think of ourselves as fun and relatable and are open to interface with our clients on feedback to improve on ourselves as well as take into consideration of their input on what they’ll like to see from us as a brand.
